About Me

Nice to meet you! 你好!

Stephanie here! I was born in Singapore, grew up in Taiwan, and now call Texas home. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a habit of chasing new things, new food, new cities, new little corners of the world I hadn't seen yet (but matcha is my one stuck love, enough that I named my dog after it).

That curiosity ended up shaping how I think about research. I like figuring out why something works (or doesn't) for people, and finding better ways to solve everyday problems, whether that's in a product, a system, or just how information gets communicated. It's the same instinct, just pointed at different things.

I'm currently a Master's student in HCI/UX at the University of Texas at Austin, with a background in psychology. My work spans health data comprehension, accessibility, and human-AI interaction, and I move between qualitative and quantitative methods depending on what the question actually needs.

Looking forward to connecting! ✦
